Besides portraying Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films (2001- ), based on the book series by J.K. Rowling, Rupert Grint has also appeared in Thunderpants (2002) as Alan A. Allen and Driving Lessons (2006) as Ben Marshall. Rupert has won the Young Artist Award for Most Promising Newcomer and the Special Achievement Golden Satellite Award as Outstanding New Talent in 2002 for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
